Declaration of Khalistan

Twenty Eight years ago today, the Sikh nation unanimously made the declaration of Khalistan at Akal Takhat Sahib. The decision was made after years of peaceful struggle and two holocausts carried out in June 1984 and November 1984. Even after killing thousands of innocent Sikhs and wiping out the so-called “terrorists” the government had still not made any headway to meet the insignificant demands of the Sikhs concerning their religious, economic and political matters. The Sikhs were fed up by the lies of the government and as a last resort decided to separate from India once and for all.

Although, Hindus and India media boast of “peace” being restored but it is all a melodrama. The so-called peace came at the cost of subjugation and ethnic cleansing of the Sikhs in large numbers. Sikhs were singled out from the rest of the communities and specifically targeted for massacre. Life, property and freedom were no more secure. In the name of combating terrorism, the Indian government let loose its reins of terror on the innocent Sikh people which resulted in large scale execution never been witnessed in past Sikh history before. Sikh issues still linger today being largely ignored and forgotten by the Indian regime. The government and largely Hindus fail to realize the fact that a country that oppresses its own citizens and wishes to prosper by spilling the blood of innocent Sikhs is destined to be doomed eventually. Oppression, injustice, discrimination, hatred and inequality are all part of falsehood which does not last forever. Just like Mughal, Afghan and British Empires, Hindu Empire too shall meet its doom and Sikh rule will prevail.
